Cross Flow Paint Booths

How Does a Cross Flow Paint Booth Work?
A cross flow paint booth moves filtered air horizontally from the front of the booth to the rear. Fresh air enters through the intake filters, travels across the painting area, and carries airborne overspray toward the rear exhaust filters. This straightforward airflow design is a popular option for professional finishing operations.
01. Filtered Air Intake Fresh air enters through filters located at the front of the booth.
02. Horizontal Airflow Air moves from front to back across the work area, helping carry airborne overspray toward the exhaust.
03. Rear Exhaust Air passes through the rear exhaust filtration system before leaving through the designed exhaust arrangement.
Planning to add heat? Because the intake filters are located at the front, cross flow booths can be more difficult to retrofit for a heated makeup air unit (AMU). Discuss heating and ventilation requirements with our team before ordering.
