Heating/Air Make-up Units

Paint Booths rely on ambient or “shop air” to replace the air that is exhausted during the operation of the booth.  The alternative is the use of an Air Make-Up Units (AMU). The AMU is designed to extract / pull fresh air from outside and duct that air into an intake box for the booth to replenish exhausted air.  More importantly, is that the air can be heated thereby allowing the temperature of the induced air be controlled/regulated. This becomes more critical in colder environments in order to more efficiently sustain year-round operations.  

Merchant 1 Manufacturing’s Semi-Down and Side Down Draft booths can be configured with an intake box to support an AMU. Our primary vendors are Bananza and Rammstein.
