Uni-Ram UG2000D Automatic Spray Gun Cleaner
The Uni-Ram UG2000D Automatic Spray Gun Cleaner is a professional, air-operated spray gun washing system designed to make cleanup faster and easier in automotive body shops, collision repair facilities, paint shops, and other professional refinishing environments.
Designed for automatic cleaning of spray guns and cups, the UG2000D uses a diaphragm pump and strategically positioned cleaning jets to circulate cleaning solvent through the wash tank. Spray guns are positioned inside the enclosed cleaning chamber, the lid is closed, and the automatic wash timer starts the cleaning cycle.
The automatic cleaning cycle takes approximately 60 seconds, helping reduce the time spent manually cleaning spray equipment between paint jobs.

Simple Shop Installation
The UG2000D does not require a permanent plumbing or floor-drain connection for the cleaning liquid.
A commercial wash pail is placed in the lower cabinet and serves as the cleaning-liquid reservoir. The machine's suction hose draws cleaning liquid from the pail, while the drain hose returns liquid from the cleaning tank to the pail.
The unit does require a compressed-air supply. Uni-Ram specifies:
-
Air inlet: 1/4" NPT
-
Minimum air hose size: 3/8" inside diameter
-
Minimum air pressure: 85 PSI
-
Clean, dry compressed air is recommended
If the shop's compressed-air supply contains moisture or contaminants, Uni-Ram recommends installing a moisture filter.
How the UG2000D Works
Before automatic cleaning, excess paint should be removed from the spray gun and cup. The spray gun is then prepared according to Uni-Ram's instructions and positioned on the appropriate nozzle inside the cleaning tank.
After the guns and cups are properly positioned, close the lid and turn the Auto Wash Timer to begin cleaning. The automatic wash cycle takes approximately 60 seconds.
After cleaning, remove the spray guns and cups and wipe them dry. Spray guns should not be stored inside the cleaning tank.
Cleaning Liquid & Maintenance
Cleaning liquid is stored in a removable commercial wash pail rather than being permanently drained from the machine. This makes replacing used cleaning liquid straightforward and eliminates the need to plumb the machine into a liquid drainage system.
Cleaning liquid should be replaced when it no longer cleans effectively. Uni-Ram also recommends routinely cleaning the gun-cleaner tank and inspecting the filtration components for accumulated paint debris.
Always select a cleaning liquid appropriate for the type of coating being cleaned and approved for use in automatic spray gun cleaning equipment.
