The paint storage and mixing room provides a code-compliant ventilated room for paint storage and mixing – excellent addition to a paint and body shop configuration. Note: mixing rooms cannot be used for spraying operations - storage only.
Merchant 1 Manufacturing’s (paint) mixing rooms (MR) are constructed with the same materials as our booths. MR are self-contained and enclosed areas for the storage, mixing, and handling of paints and coating materials. Our MR provide lighting, intake filtration, and external exhaust ventilation much like a spray booth. However, the air flow/cfm requirements are lower given its size and that its primary objective is to exhaust lighter and less pervasive hazardous fumes. Mixing rooms protect both the paint and the painter by (1) lowering/mitigating product contamination and (2) reducing exposure to toxins.
