PBSD14929FT Semi-Down Draft Paint Booth
A versatile finishing solution for automotive shops and professional coating operations. The PBSD14929FT combines a spacious interior, ceiling-mounted intake filter section, and high-capacity exhaust system with a flexible design that can accommodate a compatible air makeup unit configuration.
Flexible Airflow for Professional Finishing
The Merchant 1 Manufacturing PBSD14929FT Semi-Down Draft Paint Booth is designed for automotive refinishing and other appropriate professional coating applications. Its semi-down airflow arrangement draws intake air through filter grids located in the upper front ceiling area and moves air horizontally toward the rear exhaust system.
Unlike a traditional crossflow booth that typically draws intake air through filters in the front doors, the semi-down configuration places the intake filter section above the front working area. This layout provides flexibility when planning a compatible air makeup unit (AMU) or heated air makeup system, subject to the booth design and required airflow specifications.
Built from 18-gauge G-90 galvanized steel, the PBSD14929FT features ten 2' × 4' LED fixtures with glass, a 30-inch tube axial exhaust fan, and a 3 HP, three-phase motor rated at 12,800 CFM at 1/2" static pressure. The booth also includes 20" × 20" intake and exhaust filter pads, a manometer/draft gauge, hardware, and sealants.
Merchant 1 Manufacturing builds paint booths in Reidsville, North Carolina, and can discuss standard and custom configurations to help accommodate your facility, production requirements, and available shop space.
